Craig's Moffat County High School is at 900 Finley Lane on the city's north side.

The campus was built in 1981. The school's enrollment in 2007-08 was 716 students. The staff totals about 84, including 41 teachers, counselors, secretaries, teacher aides, and custodians.

The School's Academic Performance was rated as Average ion the most recent 2007-08 Colorado School Accountability Report. Student-teacher ratios for grades 9 through 12 range from about 12.6 to 26.2 to 1.. Teachers at the school have an average of 12 years' experience.

Beyond the core classes, the high School also features music, special needs, vocational classes, ACE/Work, agriculture classes and welding, auto mechanics, computer aided drawing, and family/consumer science.

The School competes in the Colorado High School Athletic Association's Class 4A Western Slope League. Sports teams include football, baseball, basketball, golf, swimming, volleyball, soccer and wrestling. The wrestling team has won three consecutive state championships.

The current principal is Jane Harmon, who has been with the school since 2000.
